I worked with the team at Tacodeli to help expand their branding and infuse new ingredients to an Austin, TX cult classic. I contributed updates to their branding to closer reflect the essence of the company and used these adjustments as a compass to point the visual landscape towards their unique Austin heritage, commitment to community activation, and desire to bring joy to their customers lives.

CREATIVE DIRECTION. PACKAGING.

Margaritas and Palomas to-go? Say no more.

One of the first assignments I had as an official Tacodeli team member was supporting the launch of alcohol sales. A major component to this project was designing labels for their craft cocktails to-go in 16oz and 64oz containers. Inspirited by the possibilities and tasked with the mission to create buzz around the new offering, I focused on creating a unique language inside the Taco-verse that brought excitement home with the customers and fit naturally in a lineup of in-store packaged cocktails and spiked beverages.

BRANDING. CREATIVE DIRECTION. INTERIOR DESIGN.

Tacodeli broke expectations (and records) by opening its first suburban restaurant located in the Circle C area of Austin, TX. With the desire to create a new “sit down, stay awhile” atmosphere, the marketing team paired up with interior designer Lilianne Steckle to elevate the dining experience and create a blueprint for new store openings to follow.

I assisted in selecting interior elements such as upholstery, artwork, and tiling that pushed the understanding of the brand while remaining harmonious to previous iterations. Alongside the improvements to the interior design, I produced a new signage system to support the shift into the new era of Tacodeli dining. Signage included messaging for the salsa bar, online ordering, restrooms, merch, and more. Lastly, I remixed the iconic artwork of Cindy Raschke, creating new tabletop artwork in the style of traditional Lotería bingo cards.

CREATIVE DIRECTION. APPAREL DESIGN.

Team Tacodeli is a cycling team that participates in the Texas MS 150, a 2-day, 180 mile ride from Houston and Austin to College Station to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. I had the honor to create the jersey and t-shirts for their 2021 ride. Combining the iconic color codes of Tacodeli, classic cycling styles and artwork from the brilliant Cindy Raschke, the outcome was a one-of-a-kind uniform that represented Tacodeli and their passionate support of philanthropic pursuits.
